Wish you and your class could travel to the Rainforest? In this virtual field trip, you can bring the rainforest to life for your students.
This virtual field trip starts off with students predicting where they will be traveling. Students will share and build background knowledge about the rainforest.
Students will then be able to listen to two fantastic books about the rainforest: The Umbrella and The Great Kapok Tree.
Students will then be guided to read more about the Rainforest with National Geographic Kids. Students can then watch a few short videos with facts and information about the Rainforest. (Rainforest facts and Rainforest Animals)
Who doesn't love chocolate? Students will learn about how chocolate is made, and how chocolate comes from the Rainforest! Students can then learn about the history of chocolate.
Did you know there is a rainforest in the United States? Students will learn about the temperate rainforest located right in the United States.
