Class Applesauce: Apple or Johnny Appleseed Unit
Celebrating Johnny Appleseed or studying an apple unit? This is the perfect way to celebrate the beginning or end of an apple unit or Johnny Appleseed Day!
The note asks students to:
"Please bring an apple that has been washed, peeled, and sliced to school tomorrow. We will be making our very own applesauce!"
You print them out, cut them, put it in a ziplock baggie and send them home with your students. Students will then return the baggies with their apples and you simply place them in a crockpot at the beginning of the day and you'll have applesauce by lunchtime!
This resource includes each day of the week and also one that says tomorrow.
*Johnny Appleseed Day is celebrated on September 26 or March 11.
